Efficacy IT was founded in Falling Waters, West Virginia in 2021 on three decades of enterprise infrastructure experience — cloud, security, and the operating discipline that large organizations depend on every day. We built the firm to bring that standard to the businesses that need it most: the two-person practice, the fifteen-person contractor, the thirty-person operation that runs on technology but shouldn’t have to run an IT department.
A care organization, not a ticket queue.
Most IT providers are organized around reacting — tickets in, fixes out. We’re organized around care: baseline your business, close the gaps that matter, watch what counts, and review progress with you on a set cadence. It’s why security is included in every tier instead of upsold, why your website and domain can live under the same accountable roof, and why we put a number on progress instead of asking you to take our word for it. Why ‘Efficacy’.
We named the firm for the standard we wanted to be held to. Efficacy means the capacity to produce the intended effect — not activity, not effort, but results that hold up when they’re measured. It’s why Measured leads our principles, and we registered the name because we intend to stand behind it.

When we take on your business, we baseline it in writing — security posture score, MFA coverage, backup restore results, patch currency — and review the movement with you each quarter. If a number didn’t improve, you’ll see that too. Most businesses we meet have never had any of this measured — that’s normal, and it’s exactly what the first baseline is for.
