Effective date: July 19, 2026
Efficacy IT® respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through efficacyit.us, how we use and protect it, how artificial intelligence is used in our operations, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to this website and to inquiries you send us through it. Our client service agreements govern the handling of client data within our care services and take precedence for those relationships.
Information we collect
Information you provide. When you submit a form, request a consultation, or book a call, we receive what you choose to share — typically your name, email address, phone number, company name, and the details of your inquiry. Scheduling is handled through Microsoft Bookings, which processes your booking under Microsoft’s privacy terms.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect technical data when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring pages, and general interaction patterns. This comes from hosting logs, security monitoring, and the analytics services described below.
Information from service providers. Our analytics and advertising platforms may provide aggregated or inferred information about how visitors reach and use the site. We do not purchase personal information from data brokers.
How we use information
We use the information above to respond to your inquiries and provide the services you request, to operate, secure, and improve this website, to understand which content is useful to visitors, to communicate with you about our services when you have asked us to, and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Artificial intelligence in our operations
Efficacy IT uses AI-assisted tools as part of how we build, operate, and deliver technology services — including drafting and operations tools from providers such as Anthropic, Microsoft, and Google. That means information you send us, such as the content of an inquiry, may be processed by these tools when we work on your request, under provider agreements that restrict use of that data and do not permit it to be sold.
Three commitments govern our use of AI. First, human oversight: AI assists our work, and a person at Efficacy IT reviews and remains accountable for decisions and communications that affect you. Second, no consequential automated decisions: we do not use AI to make decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects without human involvement. Third, data discipline: we do not use your personal information to train AI models of our own, and we select providers and configurations designed to prevent your information from being used to train theirs.
Some services on this site also apply machine learning — for example, Microsoft Clarity analyzes anonymized interaction patterns such as scrolling and clicking to help us improve usability, and our security tooling uses automated pattern detection to identify malicious traffic.
Cookies, analytics, and consent
We use cookies and similar technologies for site functionality, security, analytics, and measurement. Our analytics stack includes Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Microsoft advertising tags. Non-essential cookies load only according to your choices in our consent banner, where you can accept, decline, or customize by category — and you can revisit your choice at any time using the consent icon on the site. Where your browser sends a recognized opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control, we honor it for this site.
How we share information
We share personal information only with service providers that help us operate — website hosting, Microsoft 365 and Bookings, analytics providers named above, our email delivery service, and the AI-assisted tools described in this policy — each processing information solely to provide their service to us under contractual restrictions. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a business transition, in which case this policy would continue to apply to information collected under it.
Security
We apply the same security discipline to this site that we bring to client work: hardened administrative access, continuous security monitoring, encryption in transit, and a deliberately minimal data footprint. No website can guarantee absolute security, but protecting information is the center of our profession, and we treat this site accordingly.
Retention
We keep form submissions and correspondence for as long as needed to respond to you and manage the relationship you have requested, and consent and security records for the periods required to demonstrate compliance and protect the site. When information is no longer needed, we delete it.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to access or correct it, to request deletion, and to opt out of certain processing. We extend these requests to all visitors regardless of state. To exercise any of them, email info@efficacyit.us with your request — we will verify and respond within the timeframe your state’s law provides, and we will never treat you differently for exercising your rights.
Children
This site is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
When we update this policy, we will post the revised version here with a new effective date. Material changes will be noted prominently.
